Who makes the K2 Black Panther tank?
Last updated: October 2026
Hyundai Rotem of Seoul makes the K2 Black Panther — one of the world’s most advanced main battle tanks, bought by Poland in a landmark deal — plus the K808 wheeled armored vehicle. The Hyundai Motor Group arm also builds high-speed trains, but its defense business rides Korea’s arms-export boom.
